The etiology of the said disorder is still idiopathic or unknown up to these days. But most medical practitioners have a list of possible causes. On the top of their list is the women’s hormonal imbalance, because during and after pregnancy and childbirth, a mother’s hormones can been thrown out of balance. Another contributing factor is lack of emotional support from the family and loved ones. They must be treated with care because their mood is not stable and they also need affection and support as well. Why? Because they might have low self esteem because of the physical disturbance, and the new role that they are going to face after giving birth, in addition to that the financial constraint, it can also be a burden to the mother and last but not the least the new life that she will have including the baby.
